2009 Browning Youth Masters Final -  Moorlands Farm Fishery   -  Friday 31st July

Chloe Raynor, the winner of our qualifier on 4th July, travelled to Kidderminster for the final of this prestigious national event. She drew peg 45 on Meadow Lake and settled down for the match in warm but slightly windy conditions. The lake seemed to split in half with one half catching regularly and the other half struggling. Chloe's peg was unfortunately in the wrong half and finished with a weight of 11lb 14oz to give her second place in her section. One of the highlights of her day was being interviewed by Keith Arthur for "Tight Lines" which is aired on Sky Sports.

All in all she had an excellent day and the experience has made her determined to reach the final again next year. Well done!

2009 Browning Youth Masters Qualifier  -  Ash Lake  -  Saturday 4th July

Chloe Raynor from Sleaford booked her place in the final with a patient display on a bright and very warm day. Fishing pole in the margins from peg 10 she caught steadily for a winning weight of 16lb 1oz comprising of carp, bream, roach and crucians..A close finish was always on the cards and a lost carp in the latter stages of the match finally put paid to a late challenge from her nearest rival Joshua Clarke fishing from peg 8.

We wish Chloe the very best of luck in the final at Moorlands Farm Fishery near Kidderminster on Friday 31st July.
